Spain's Influence
During Spain's rule, the Filipinos had experienced many changes in their culture, religion, and many other changes that they were not prepared or happy with. Some accepted changes but others did not, and they had lived under this reign for over 300 years. There were changes in government as the Filipino's old government was very separated as they lived away from each other in islands. This made the Filipinos upset and lead many attempts of revolts in reaction towards it. The US government are waiting for proposals from the Philippine government to set up special American facilities.
